Dr. Richard S. Pinto, a board-certified neuroradiologist, is Associate Chairman of Radiology at Beth Israel Medical Center of New York.
After completing his undergraduate studies at Washington Square College (NYU) in New York City (1963), Dr. Pinto earned his M.D. degree at St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri (1968).
After completing his internship at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center of New York (1969), Dr. Pinto completed his residency at Bellevue Medical Center of NYU (1969-1970; 1972-1973). He continued his training with a fellowship in neuroradiology at Bellevue Medical Center (NYU) in Manhattan, New York (1973-1974).
In 1975 Dr. Pinto was granted the title of Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology and obtained added qualifications in neuroradiology in 1995 and 2005.
A highly regarded expert in the field of radiology, Dr. Pinto is widely published and has made numerous presentations over the course of his career.
